A question I always raise with myself is, does there really have to be glue? When I create a package I try to use as little glue as I possibly can. I ask myself can I create a friction fit? Is there something else I can use? These are a few random things I came across where something other then glue was used. In a lot of rice packaging the bags are stitched up with thread, so why not try that with other products like noodles etc? And hey, why not use something like metal tabs instead of glue too? They're reusable and makes things easy to open.
